Guided Invoicing
Overview
DMG's Provider Invoicing process was outdated visually and highly manual. The CEO wanted desperately to update the UI with a more conversational approach. I worked closely with the PO and eventual Director of Product to completely overhaul the UI based on her vision.

Tools & method Co-created user journey and wireframes with PO and Director of Product in Whimsical. UI Design and prototype in Figma.
Process Initially, this was started under the old Engineering leadership model. Progress was slow as I was only able to focus on this product intermittently, with far too many products for me to support at once. Once we shifted to a product-led organization and brought on additional designers, I was able to sprint ahead, even while managing the newly expanded team, and finally get a working prototype ready for the dev team to implement. I participated in and observed interviews with the Providers in the group approved by the Director / PO to determine what their needs truly were and to get feedback on the design as it developed.
Process
Wireframing
The first step was to pin down the flow of the app. This was done over many working sessions with the Chief Product Officer and the Director / PO. Once they were satisfied with the flow, I moved on to high fidelity prototyping.
Hi-fi
Next, I created the prototype using the DMG Design System Arianne Archer (UX Engineer and general genius) and I developed over just 6 weeks using Material-UI and DMG’s existing branding guidelines.
